This work is required every few years under the terms of an easement MBYC granted to the city for storm sewer outfall. The work will be done by Evactor Truck, and will be noisy while underway. The work is scheduled to start July 21, and last about two weeks.

Bellevue Utilities has delayed construction of the proposed new sewer line through the park and marina property to allow better coordination with the park construction, and reduce the need for changes after the park is done. No revised start date has been given. As we learn more we'll keep you informed.
Your Attendance is Requested: Bellevue City Council Study Session - May 12th 6PM at City Hall5/9/2014 Two important elements affecting the Park are part of the current Shoreline Management Program (SMP) update - those issues are:
1) Embedding the Implementation Principles into the SMP – This is important as this will ensure when the Park Dept goes to the Planning Dept for permits, the citizen engagement principles that Council approved will be respected and followed. 2) Use of a General Conditional Use Permit for the entire Park/Marina (with a Shoreline permit for portion in the 200 foot Shoreline Jurisdiction) - This is important as this will ensure citizens have the maximum allowed input into the granting of design specific permits, as the Park phases progress. We'd love for a strong MBNA showing at this meeting. Please try to attend. May 12th, 6PM at City Hall. ![]() Urgent reminder - Bellevue Shoreline Pubic Hearing – Monday, May 5th – 8pm – City Hall After five years, an acceptable compromise SMP is before City Council for approval to Ecology. Please come and show support for our Bay. Having you present WILL make a difference! Please plan on attending this most important public hearing. May 5th, 8:00PM @ City Hall |
